一、工作概覽 Position Overview
我們在做的是天文望遠鏡的接收機系統(Receiver)從元件量測、整合到安裝,把訊號從天空帶回地面,變成可用的科學資料。辦理研討會、會議、講座、演講或計畫相關活動等業務。
We build astronomical telescope receiver systems, from the component level of design, measurement, integration, and verification to the system level verification on site. The mission is detecting the signals from the sky then convert to scientific data.

二、工作內容 Key Responsibilities
天文望遠鏡接收機系統/元件:設計、測試、量測與問題排除
系統整合與驗證(Integration & Verification)
接收機與儀器設備安裝與現場支援(含海外天文臺站)
跨團隊協作(跨工程領域 × 科學)
Design & Troubleshooting: Design, test, measure, and troubleshoot astronomical telescope receiver components and system.
Integration: Execute System Integration & Verification (I&V) procedures to ensure component, subsystem and receiver system meets specifications.
Field Deployment: Travel to observatory sites to install instruments and provide on-site technical support.
Collaboration: Collaborate across engineering disciplines and science teams to ensure project success.

歡迎任何工程或物理相關背景:電機、機械、光電、材料、物理、航太、通訊、控制、系統工程…皆可。
學士/碩士(新鮮人可),或具相關工作經驗者
對硬體、實作、量測與系統整合有興趣,願意學跨領域者
Background: We welcome candidates with any engineering or physics backgrounds, including (but not limited to): Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Photonics/Optoelectronics, Materials Science, Physics, Aerospace Engineering, Communications, Control, Systems Engineering, etc.
Education: B.S. or M.S. in a relevant field (New graduates are welcome).
(For applicants who do not hold citizenship of Taiwan (the Republic of China), an MS, MSc, MEng equivalent or higher academic degree is mandatory.)
Mindset: Strong interest in hardware, hands-on work, measurement, and system integration; willing to learn across disciplines.
四、必備條件 Required Qualifications
具良好工程或物理基礎,能動手做實驗、量測與資料判讀(不限領域)
具系統觀念:能將需求、介面、量測結果整合、分析問題來源
英文技術報告讀寫能力(讀寫為主,能口頭討論更佳)
具團隊合作與獨立解決問題能力
Fundamentals: Solid engineering or physics fundamentals with ability to perform experiments and interpret data.
Systems thinking: Ability to integrate requirements and analyze root causes when problems arise.
Communication: Ability to read and write technical documents in English (spoken discussion is a plus).
Soft Skills: Strong independent problem solving skills and a team oriented attitude.
五、加分條件 Preferred Qualifications
具 RF/微波/毫米波量測或設計經驗(專題/實驗室/工作皆可)
熟悉量測儀器:VNA、Spectrum Analyzer、Signal Generator、Oscilloscope 等
具控制、資料擷取與熟悉Python/LabVIEW軟體撰寫經驗者佳
可配合不定期出差、可在高海拔(4000m+)環境工作;具汽車駕照者佳
RF Experience: Experience with RF/microwave/millimeter-wave measurement or design (capstone project, lab, or industry experience).
Instrumentation: Familiar with test equipment such as VNA, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, oscilloscope, etc.
Programming: Experience in control and data acquisition; programming with Python and/or LabVIEW is a plus.
Willing to accept domestic and overseas travel, being able to work at 4000+m altitude, and holding a valid current driving license is preferred.
六、薪資(起薪) Starting Salary
依中研院規定、適用勞基法
According to Academia Sinica regulations; Labor Standards Act applicable.
